What is ketogenic diet about?


“You are all consist of what you eat” a clever man once said.

If there is no bread on the table , a Turk never feels full at dinner. This is a national truth about us J

I have even met people  who eat pasta with bread..Considering this, I m quite suprised we are not all obese yet J

Pasta, rice,  potato, all type of grains… Its very hard to imagine a  lunch without any of those dishes.. This shows how carbs are consumed in Turkish cusine

Keto diet is all about decreasing the carbonhydrates. Nutritions  which consists 75% of fats, 25% of  proteins and around  5% is carbonhydrates to have a healthy and fit body.

At  the begining ,  I couldnot imagine myself doing keto diet. How could I?  I was eating potato chips with breadJ 

You say No carbs? Shall I starve to die J?

 I joined the facebook groups and met people who doing keto… Can you imagine they were Turks who doing keto and not died from hunger yet  :o  !

After serious thoughts, lots of reading, I figured out I m not eating healthy and it must change.

 

I dont have over weight problem yet but huge potential for that. Other  then the physcal reasons I would like more of life. We coming this world only once, why not do better living…? We worth it..:)
